Woman, 47, killed in crash with lorry as heartbroken family pay tribute to ‘beautiful, funny daughter’
A WOMAN killed in a crash with a lorry has been described as "beautiful and funny" by her heartbroken family.
Clare Laskey, 47, tragically died after the horror collision near the Whiddon Down junction, in Cornwall, on October 15, shortly after 11pm.
Senior coroner Philp Spinney told the inquest how their car "potentially aqua planed" moments before the crash "causing the vehicle to go onto its side."
The inquest was told how Clare was getting out of the vehicle when it was struck by a Scania articulated HGV.

Clare's heartbroken family said: "We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful, loyal and funny daughter, partner, sister and aunt in such tragic circumstances.
"She will be sadly missed by us all including her friends and the amazing Lizard community.
"Forever in our hearts."
A 60-year-old man also involved in the collision was taken to hospital for his injuries but has since been released.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "An investigation was carried out at the scene.
"Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst this took place.
