Paedo Met cop sent vile child sex videos of girls as young as eight from police station – but avoids prison
A PAEDO cop sent vile child sex videos of girls as young as eight from a police station.
Stuart Mason used the Kik messaging app to upload a string of the most serious Category A clips.
The 50-year-old sent the videos from the police station where he worked in the Violent Crime Task Force.
He also used his home computer to share the vile material but did so on his personal phone number.
This meant investigators from the National Crime Agency and Sussex Police were able to snare on the predator cop.
Mason has now avoided jail after he admitted six offences of distribution of indecent images of children.

He was instead handed a two year sentence suspended for two years.
Recorder Tom Nicholson-Pratt said: "You pleaded guilty early and are entitled to full credit.
“That you have no previous convictions is hardly surprising given your occupation for many, many years.
“Your long career as a police officer is now in tatters.

“What I know about you and the limited nature of the offending is why I can just about suspend your sentence.”
Hove Crown Court was told Mason had a successful career in the Metropolitan Police.
But in 2019, he became addicted to pornography when his life was "at a low ebb".
In December 2022, the NCA were informed indecent videos and images were being uploaded from a Kik messaging account.
They were able to link Mason to the sickening stash as he had used his personal mobile and email address.
The children in the vile videos were aged between eight and 16, the court heard.
Mason quit the Met after he was arrested in January 2023 and got a new job as a HGV driver.
As well as a suspended jail sentence, Mason will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
He was also ordered to complete 200 hours unpaid work and 25 rehabilitation days.
