THIS is the horrifying moment a skydiver plummets to her death after both the main and reserve parachutes fail - launching a police investigation.
Footage shows the 40-year-old woman's fatal last jump as she plummets at terrifying speed while spinning out of control.
Footage captures the moment Carolina Muñoz Kennedy plunges to the ground as onlookers watch on in horror.
The clip begins with the skydiver spinning into chaos - presumably due to the reserve parachute being twisted
As altitude diminishes, for a moment it looks as if Carolina is able to untwist the parachute - but she proceeds to near closer and closer to the ground at a terrifying pace.
The last of the footage sees the 40-year-old head somewhere behind the trees, meanwhile what appears to be the rest of the skydiving crew stand in a field in shock.
