MOHAMED Fayed’s ex-security chief has revealed he labelled Prince Philip “The Assassin” over the car crash that killed Princess Diana and his son Dodi.
The sex attacker and former Harrods owner told his one-time bodyguard Andre Steele that he blamed the 1997 accident on “dark forces”.
And he disclosed that Fayed also called Philip “The German” and was obsessed with outliving him.
An inquest found Diana, 36, and Dodi, 42, were unlawfully killed in the Paris crash partly due to “gross negligence” by their driver, who was speeding and had been drinking.
But Andre, who guarded Fayed from 2004-2008, said: “He thought Diana and Dodi had been betrayed and ultimately killed by the royals.
“He particularly blamed Philip and would refer to him as an assassin or killer. He also called him ‘The German’. But he loved the Queen and spoke very highly of her.

“He called her a beautiful and talented woman, but he claimed she was disillusioned with her husband.
“He said several times he wanted Philip to die before him.”
Philip, who had German ancestry, died aged 99 in 2021.
Andre said: “Obviously, he ultimately got his wish but I’d stopped working for him by then. It was a strange obsession.”

Andre added that Fayed, who died last year aged 94, remained “obsessed” with Di after her death, telling Andre he had wanted Dodi to have kids with her so he could worm his way into the Royal Family.
Police are probing 61 claims of sexual assault against Fayed after he was exposed as a predator.
Andre told The Sun last week that Fayed targeted Harrods workers and attacked women at his Surrey mansion.
A female Fulham FC worker also had to be chaperoned when he visited the club as owner.
