Dying mum-of-four whose bowel cancer was missed TWELVE times is begging for help to fund life-saving treatment

Sally Major is undergoing treatment in a German hospital after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer

A MUM-of-four whose cancer was missed a staggering TWELVE times by doctors is soon to have her treatment stopped because her family have run out of money.

Sally Major is fighting for her life in a German hospital after being diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer when a massive tumour went undetected by bungling medics.

Her husband Liam said he has been "literally begging" for donations so he can afford for his soulmate to have advanced immunotherapies at the foreign clinic - because it's not available on the NHS.

He wrote on Facebook: "Our money has finally run out.

"Unless we get at least 10,000 euros together by Thursday we will quite literally have nowhere to go.

"Sally can barely stand for a second, has lost all muscle mass and we’re not able to get her home.

"Equally we can’t afford to stay here so have no option.

"I am literally begging. I can’t let my wife and amazing mum of my kids deteriorate, suffer and ultimately pass while knowing there’s treatment available that works.

"We’ve drained our personal finances, maxed our credit, sold car, remortgaged, business currently £12,000 overdrawn.

I can’t let my wife and amazing mum of my kids deteriorate, suffer and ultimately pass while knowing there’s treatment available that works.

"We have no more options for money, nothing, done. I have never been so desperate so quickly, please I beg anything anyone can give."

Sally has already undergone two spells of chemotherapy at Hallwang Clinic near Stuttgart.

Before that she had surgery to remove a foot of her bowel - but the disease had spread to her liver, both lungs, lymph nodes and peritoneum.

Almost £32,000 was raised when an appeal launched at the start of the year - but now more cash is desperately needed for a third round of treatment

A nine-week treatment plan costs over £100,000, and Liam says he can't afford it.

The pair are parents to two-year-old George, Maisy, six, Adam, 11, and Ryan 12 who live in Silsden, West Yorkshire.

Liam added: "Me, my kids, and all of our family really need Sally in our lives.

"I cannot imagine facing it alone without the love of my life and soulmate."
