Amit was kidnapped during the October 7 massacre, when Hamas stormed her house in Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

The Israeli relived the terrifying ordeal during an emotional appeal to the UN Security Council in which she described the nightmare she endured.

She said: "I was alone, chained by the ankles with a metal shackle, unable to move, and forced to beg to use the bathroom,' she said.

"I was sexually assaulted by the Hamas terrorist who guarded me. He forced me into the shower, following closely with his gun aimed at me.

"His heavy breathing and predatory stare were terrifying... I was powerless to stop it.

"I had no one to comfort me and had to 'behave' for the man who had just violated me in the most horrifying way."

"Not a day goes by that I don’t think about what that terrible man did to me, but I keep reminding myself that I am free now and that he can’t hurt me again, " she added.

Amit said a few days later she was moved to a new location with "different heavily armed Hamas terrorists."

She said: "In this new place, I was tortured - hung upside down, beaten, and humiliated. Every moment, I feared for my life."

The 40-year-old concluded her plea to end the conflict in Gaza and secure the release of the hostages by adding: "Act immediately to ensure the release of those still in captivity.

"Each passing day causes them further psychological harm and endangers their lives. Act before it's too late.

"I beg you not to turn a blind eye to the horrors being inflicted on innocent civilians,' she said.

"It is your responsibility to protect human rights, fight terrorism, and bring the perpetrators to justice...

"Secure the freedom of the hostages and ensure no one else endures such a fate."

She said she recalled the day Hamas monsters snatched her "vividly."

Harrowing footage showed the Amit desperately trying to fight off a group of Hamas.

Amit can be seen kicking and screaming as her abductors attempt to restrain her.

She was finally released during a ceasefire in November after 55 hellish days in Hamas captivity.

Harrowing photos showed her getting into a Red Cross vehicle alongside Mia Schem, 21  in the last batch of hostages freed as part of the ceasefire deal.

Ammit became the first released hostage to speak publicly about being sexually abused in Gaza in an emotional interview with the New York Times in March.

Days after being taken, her guard, who identified himself as Muhammad began questioning her about her sex life and menstrual cycle, before turning physical on or around October 24.

She said he ordered her to bathe, and then beat her when she tried to cover herself with a hand towel.

"He kept punching me and put his gun in my face," she told the US paper. "Then he dragged me to the bedroom."

Following the sexual assault, Muhammad allegedly showed remorse, saying: "I'm bad, I'm bad, please don't tell Israel."

A few weeks after arriving in Gaza, she told how she was summoned to a room for a brutal beating by guards who believed she was hiding information.

After having a shirt put over her head and being forced to sit on the floor, Amit said was beaten with the but of a gun.

Hamas guards then duct taped her mouth and nose, tied her feet and handcuffed her.

The twisted torturers then reportedly hung her "like a chicken" between two couches and continued to beat and kick her, she said.

"It was like that for 45 minutes or so," Amit said. "They were hitting me and laughing and kicking me, and called the other hostages to see me."

After being untied, she was then threatened with death if she didn't provide the requested information within 40 minutes, despite having no idea what they wanted know.

She was finally freed on November 30 - just a day before the week-long truce between Israel and Hamas expired.
