Woman, 27, stabbed outside football stadium station dies as devastated family pay tribute to ‘most selfless person’
A WOMAN who was stabbed outside a football stadium railway station has died as her devastated family paid tribute to her.
"Selfless" Rhiannon Skye Whyte, 27, was found with injuries consistent with being stabbed.
Officers were called to Bescot Stadium railway station just after 11.25pm on October 20 to reports of a serious assault.
She was taken to hospital where she sadly died with her family by her side on October 23.
Deng Cholmajek, 18, from Walsall, was arrested and subsequently charged with attempted murder following the attack.
Cholmajek has now been charged with murder to reflect Rhiannon's death.

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on November 19.
Her family said: ";The most loved daughter, compassionate sister, loving aunty, gracious granddaughter, beautiful niece, wonderful cousin and devoted friend.
"The most selfless person you were brave, quirky, funny, and always there for anyone who needed it.
"There is not enough paper in the world to even begin to write a tribute for you, but no one deserves it more.

“You are so strong, a fighter and no matter what happens, we as a family will always be united for you.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Paul Attwell said: "Our specialist officers are supporting Rhiannon's family and friends.
"Please can we ask for their privacy to be respected. Our thoughts remain with them at this incredibly difficult time.
"I would again like to reassure the public that this is an isolated incident and we are not seeking anyone else in connection."
A force spokesperson said: "We can confirm that following the passing of Rhiannon Skye Whyte on 23 October, the charges against Deng Chol Majek, 18, of Walsall, have been amended to murder.
"He is next due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on November 19.
"Chol Majek was initially charged with attempted murder but the victim, Rhiannon Whyte, sadly died."
Nicholas Coates, deputy chief crown Prosecutor for CPS West Midlands, said: "The prosecution has issued an indictment and Deng Chol Majek will now face counts of murder and possession of an offensive weapon following a stabbing at Bescot Stadium railway station.
"He will appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month for a preparatory hearing.
"Chol Majek was initially charged with attempted murder but the victim, Rhiannon Whyte, has sadly died.
"Our thoughts remain with her friends and family at this incredibly difficult time."
