Poisoner GP who tried to murder step-dad destroyed neighbour’s garden because he took exception to their plants
A POISONER GP who tried to murder his step-dad destroyed a neighbour’s garden because he took exception to the plants they were growing.
Thomas Kwan is suspected of using chemicals on the immaculate plot.
The 53-year-old, who lived nearby, never confessed after his neighbours found their plants and shrubs withered.
But residents in Ingleby Barwick, Teesside, say it was deliberate and are convinced he did it.
One told The Sun: “It was more than just one or two plants.
“And it wasn’t a case that it was accidental after he dumped some of the chemicals in his own garden.

“He maliciously killed the plants.
“We think he poisoned them because he did not like what they were growing there.”
A judge has said Kwan faces a long sentence for trying to kill stepdad Patrick O’Hara, 72, by injecting him with poison.
He hatched the plot so he could inherit his mum’s home, Newcastle crown court was told.
