THE FBI's investigation into Prince Andrew and his friendship with paedo Jeffrey Epstein has been "parked".
US cops have paused their probe until “new evidence is presented that can move the case forward”.
A source close to the case told the : “The agents and attorneys who have, for years, worked diligently looking into Andrew’s friendship with Epstein are beyond frustrated.
“They’re angry that the probe has been parked."
No new evidence has been presented to the investigation for some time and so the case had stalled, the source also said.
FBI agents are now spending their time investigating other alleged high-profile rapists like Sean "Diddy" Combs, Mirror sources went on to say.

Combs is facing criminal charges in New York for racketeering and sex trafficking and over 100 people have come forward in civil suits.
The agency is using its resources to deal with "hundreds of potential leads" that have come forward over the last month.
But one survivor who was paid compensation from Epstein's victim's fund called the move the final "systematic cover-up".
They said: "From the very beginning, we have been denied our voices, brushed under the carpet and told to be quiet.

"The government always says that no one is above the law, but we all know that is untrue."
One former cop claimed exclusively to The Sun that he is in possession of sex tapes made by Epstein, which include footage of Andrew.
John Mark Dougan says he has a computer hard drive containing Epstein footage.
He claims the videos were passed to him by a dead cop pal who first investigated Epstein when he was arrested for child sex in 2006.
The Duke of York, 64, visited New York in 2011 shortly after Epstein was released from jail for child sex offences.
Epstein killed himself in 2019 while awaiting trial while Maxwell, 62, is serving 20 years for sex trafficking.
Geoffrey Berman - the US attorney who indicted paedo Epstein - slammed Andrew in 2020 for providing "zero cooperation".
The FBI's decision comes after the sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell had her appeal against her convictions thrown out.
Court documents released this year claimed that Andrew allegedly had an "underage orgy" while staying on Epstein's private island.
An unnamed Jane Doe - widely understood to be his accuser Virginia Giuffre - was allegedly "forced" by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to "have sexual relations" with Andrew, the docs claimed.
She was allegedly told to "give the Prince whatever he demanded".
Andrew eventually settled out of court with Giuffre agreeing to a payout of up to £12million to settle the sexual abuse lawsuit he faced.
As part of a gagging clause in the settlement, Andrew is prevented from repeating his claims he has no recollection of meeting his accuser and has agreed to never again deny claims he sexually abused her, reports the Telegraph.
Andrew was stripped of his royal roles in shame and banished from public duty by Queen Elizabeth for the scandal.
Andrew — who has always maintained his innocence — has “crept” back into royal life.
He appeared with the whole Royal Family on a Christmas Day walk to church in a shock show of unity.
Bombshell documents in the US that were unsealed at the beginning revealed alleged victim Johanna Sjoberg's witness testimony against Andrew.

The Duke, she claims, used a puppet of himself to touch her and Giuffre's breasts.
The witness testimony alleges that Sjoberg spent two nights at his "townhouse on 71st street" in the city with Epstein, Andrew, Giuffre and Maxwell.
Car crash interview
The Duke had sat down with Emily Maitlis for a wide-ranging interview in 2019, and discussed his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
During the notorious “car crash” sit down, the disgraced Prince Andrew claimed he could not have had sex with 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre because, on the day she alleged it happened, he was at Pizza Express in Woking for a kids’ party with daughter Beatrice.
He also insisted that he could not have “sweated profusely”, as was claimed, due to a medical condition he said he developed while serving in the Falklands War as a Navy helicopter pilot.
Andrew also defended his relationship with Epstein, saying that knowing the financier had "some seriously beneficial outcomes", but added that his reason for meeting him in 2010 was to "put an end to the friendship".
