Major fast food chain drops alleged ‘rapist’ YouTuber Yung Filly as new ad is scrubbed from internet days after launch

Filly's close friend and fellow YouTuber Chunkz addressed the allegations in a video online

A POPULAR fast food chain has dropped rapper Yung Filly from its social media after he was charged with rape in Australia.

German Doner Kebab (GDK) is the latest in a string of companies to distance itself from the 29-year-old as he faces a sex assault probe.

Filly has been banned from leaving the country as cops investigate allegations he raped and physically abused a woman last month.

The rapper, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested last week and charged with three counts of sexual assault.

He was also charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent and one count of impeding a person's breathing or circulation by applying pressure to the neck.

Filly is accused of raping the woman, in her 20s, at his hotel on September 28 after performing at Bar1 Nightclub in Hillarys, Perth.

Several images of him on GDK's Instagram page - enjoying their burgers and posing in a branch - have been removed since news broke of his arrest.

Filly worked with fellow YouTuber Harry Pinero on a 'Secret Sauce' with GDK and Heinz.

Maya Jama was among the celebrities to attend their launch in London just weeks ago.

Other major brands including ASOS, Heinz and the Football Association have also cut ties with the internet star.

The FA pulled a cookery advert featuring Filly from the internet - just days after its launch.

Called The Greater Game Campaign, it was aimed at promoting healthy eating for children in partnership with Marks & Spencer.

And one of his projects with close friend and fellow YouTuber Chunkz has been cancelled.

The pair were due to put on a live show of The Chunkz and Filly Show - their podcast and talk show - on October 18.

They interview rappers and celebrities as well as share their own experiences of the music industry.

The pair's show was set to happen at British venue Troxy, but a spokesperson told the BBC: "The event was removed from our website yesterday and all ticket holders have been informed - their tickets will be refunded automatically."

Filly is being made to stay in Australia until December when his second hearing gets underway.

Chunkz, real name Amin Mohamed, took to Instagram to tell fans he wouldn't be commenting on the news.

He said in a video posted to his stories: "Like everyone I’ve heard the reports coming out of Australia.

"While I understand many of you want my reaction on it, as this is an ongoing court case I hope you guys understand that I can’t and won’t be commenting on it publicly, so yeah I’ve just come on here to basically let you know the reasons as to why I can’t. Love."

Cops investigating Filly say they have an "extremely strong" case that includes CCTV footage of the social media star on the night of the alleged offences.

His defence lawyer argued the victim was drunk at the time of the alleged ordeal, according to Channel 9.

Cops allege that Filly - who was born in Colombia but moved to the UK as a refugee when he was a child - raped her in his hotel.

The rapper was first arrested on Tuesday in Brisbane and transferred to Perth the next day.

He appeared in court where the prosecution said his alleged victim's body is marked "by a history of violent acts".

Filly was bailed following his first court hearing after stumping up $100,000AUD (£51,000) for bail.

He is banned from leaving the state and must also report to Perth Police Station in Northbridge regularly.

A downcast Filly was seen reporting there for the first time on Saturday, dodging cameras as he made his way in and back out.

He wore a dark baseball cap and a cream hooded jacket with black shorts and trainers as he jogged past reporters to enter the building.

Filly remained inside for just five minutes before leaving and once again refusing to speak to the journalists waiting outside.

He was seen again on Sunday in an all black outfit arriving at the same station.

Filly is known for his comedic videos on YouTube where he shot to fame alongside fellow creators Beta Squad while also appearing in The Sidemen videos.

He then branched out to his own individual projects including podcasts, music and mainstream TV gigs.

The Sun has reached out to GDK for comment.
