THIS is the shocking moment a driver crashes into a house while attempting to do a U-turn on a stranger's driveway.
CCTV has captured the footage of the grey Audi A3 heading along a Lancashire residential road before sharply turning towards the front of a white property and crashing into the side of it.
The building has been left with "significant structural damage" after the hatchback made a sudden acceleration in the direction of the house.
After the impact, the outer wall has been said to "partially collapse".
The shocking incident unfolded on a residential street in Blackburn at around 6.30pm last Friday.
One eyewitness said they heard a "loud bang" when the car smacked into the property with the family inside at the time of the crash.

The children use the outdoor area to play on a daily basis.
Some toys belonging to kids were left on the driveway and had even been damaged in the crash.
Nearby residents who heard about the collision said the dead-end road had recently become regularly used as a turning spot for visitors to a nearby religious school.
And they said parents picking up their kids from the academy had particularly made use of the private driveways for U-turns.
They said: "Nobody has been recruited to do anything. There are no wardens on duty. They have no control of this road whatsoever.
"Despite there being multiple entrances, people choose to use this road because of easy access."
Emergency services attended the scene, and when asked for further information Lancashire Police confirmed they attended and said it was a ‘minor injury’ incident.
It comes after the family of a 17-year-old girl paid their tributes after an unrelated crash on the M65 near Burnley, Lancashire.
