Police officer who got wildly drunk and took cocaine at the races quits in disgrace
A POLICE officer who got wildly drunk and took cocaine at the races has quit in disgrace.
PC Tilly Ttofi, 25, took the Class A drug when she was offered it by a friend during a boozy day out at Ascot.
She said it was the first time she had taken illegal drugs and did so only because she was upset at breaking up with her partner.
However, when she was drug-tested two days later she was still six times the legal limit.
The officer quit the Hampshire force as a result.
But a disciplinary panel has ruled she would have been fired immediately anyway.

Ttofi, who joined in 2022, admitted she was “hideously drunk” at the Berkshire racecourse as she sought solace in alcohol in August.
She had been a passenger in a BMW stopped by police in Surrey.
As a result, she was tested by her force two days after the Ascot trip and deemed unfit for duty.
She quit three weeks later.

Ttofi told a disciplinary hearing of her remorse and shock, saying: “I don’t want the action to define me.”
Chief Constable Scott Chilton barred her from police work for five years, saying she would have been sacked.
