Pedestrian loses leg in ‘hit-and-run’ horror with severed limb seen lying in road after ‘horrendous’ crash
A PEDESTRIAN has lost a leg in a horror 'hit-and-run' with the severed limb seen lying in the road after the crash.
The "horrendous" high speed impact happened outside a Tesco supermarket in Halifax Road, Buttershaw, Bradford, at around 8pm on Monday.
Grisly footage shows a casualty lying in the middle of the road near a Pelican crossing as a group of men gather to help.
The severed lower leg can then be seen just metres away.
YappApp shared images and video of the incident on X, formerly Twitter.
A police cordon was put in place with debris, including a shoe, in the road.

The footage also shows a forensic team arriving at the scene.
Halifax Road remains closed on Tuesday morning after the collision.
West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating after a serious road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Halifax Road, Bradford yesterday evening.
"The road remains closed this morning."
