Worker, 20, killed by rollercoaster train going at full speed at Oktoberfest park after going on tracks during test run
A 20-YEAR-old construction worker was killed by a rollercoaster going at full speed at Oktoberfest in Germany.
The Romanian was tragically hit in the head during a test run for a ride, named Olympia Looping, before the beer festival is set to start on Saturday.
He was left lying seriously injured under the tracks of the ride, but tragically died later in hospital, .
Police are now investigating the death in Theresienwiese, Munich, and have cordoned off the scene.
The victim, whose name was given as Sebastian J, was hit today at 10.53am local time.
The Olympia Looping is the largest mobile roller coaster in the world and was in the south German city for the world's largest folk festival.

In 2022, an employee was killed by the ride while it was in Vienna.
An investigation into that death found no technical defect and also the employee had been instructed about dangers beforehand.
Last year, nine people were injured on another ride at Oktoberfest when two cars collided.
The ride, made out of steel, features five loops which resemble the Olympic Rings as they are painted the five colours.
