Boy, 13, slits classmate’s throat in knife, hammer and gun rampage at Russian school
A 13-YEAR-old girl is fighting for her life after her throat was slit by a boy who rampaged through a school and injured four others, reports say.
The attacker, also aged 13, was reportedly armed with a hammer, knife, and pistol when he assaulted four students and a teacher at a school in Russia.
Students were covered in blood after the boy went into a classroom and launched the depraved attack.
Biology teacher Nina Shoshina, 57, was wounded as she tried to overpower the teenager and protect her children at the school in Chelyabinsk in the west of the country.
The suspected attacker, named publicly as Roman G, was detained by police while the seriously wounded girl, named as Valeria E, was undergoing surgery, said reports.
A second girl was also undergoing emergency surgery.

The teacher said the attacker ran into the Biology room five minutes before the end of the lesson holding a gun and hammer.
She said: “He didn’t say anything, he just screamed.
“I immediately started screaming to stop him. I ran up to him, but the girls were a little faster.
“He hit both of them on the head with a hammer, then I got hit on the arm, shoulder and head.”

He then left the classroom before reportedly being detained in the toilets.
It is believed the pistol was fake, reports say.
Hours before the incident he posted a rant on social media against Russian president Vladimir Putin, saying: “Putin has enslaved the population.”
The boy’s father said he was more interested in playing Minecraft, but that he had been bullied at school, with classmates spitting on him and “morally destroying him”.
The 13-year-old accused Putin of supporting Nazism, and said schools were “created so that young children would become slaves, and so that they would be distracted from the truth of our government.
“In schools they instil what is good and what is bad, but in reality there is no good and bad.
“And there is no hell. Our great nation needs freedom of speech.”
He said: “Putin has enslaved the population and now there are few Nazis in life, I have only seen 4 Nazis (with whom I said hello by the way and they said hello to me).
“Now 90% of the population of Russia are anti-fascists, but if they close the borders of Russia between other countries, then the Nazis will begin to develop since the president, by closing the borders, approves of Nazism.”
