One said: “Since getting in, Labour have only really talked about rail and trains.

“So it looks like roads and bus fares are in the danger zone.”
Fuel duty could also be hiked for the first time in over a decade.
And there are fears that Labour could look at imposing a pay-per-mile car road tax.
Transport Minister Simon Lightwood said: “Delivering reliable and affordable public transport services is one of my top priorities.
