Jensen Harrison caught his first reptile at just two-years-old - with the tot eager to follow in his snake catching dad's footsteps.
Proud dad Tony Harrison was on standby by as he watched his toddler grab the small keelback - a non-venomous snake that lives in the family's home state of Queensland, Australia.
, Tony said: "Knowing that it would be a very small and very harmless snake, I knew that he would be keen to do it so I just stood aside and let him take over."
The young boy's parents Tony and Brooke are both snake catchers - with the youngster having grown up with all sorts of reptiles since birth.
"Every single day since then he's been surrounded by snakes one way or another."
Sharing pictures of his young son looking at home with snakes twirled around the little boy's body, Tony said he understood that some people might be concerned.
But he said the family was reptile lovers were always conscious of safety.
He said: "A lot of people are concerned, they look at it and think that it's dangerous but we watch him like a hawk."
(We want him to) understand all creatures and all life is very, very precious."
It's not the first time that snakes in Australia have made headlines with a woman surprised to find a venomous snake wrapped around her Christmas tree last year.
Terrifying footage was also shared recently, showing a python munching on a wallaby in Australia's north.
A photo was also shared online, showing a huge snake wrapped around a pot plant.
