He was also captured holding a stack of swiped Greggs goods with a cigarette hanging from his mouth as chaos swept the city.

Honey, who wore a distinctive white shirt with a large St George's flag on it, has now been banged up behind bars after pleading guilty to violent disorder and three charges of burglary.

The yob also pleaded guilty to racially aggravated criminal damage after smashing up a BMW and nine other cars during the August 3 riot.

He helped attack the motor alongside David Wilkinson, 48, another member of the "baying mob" who has been jailed for six years.

Honey's sentencing was adjourned until today after a prison officer claimed Honey asked if I wanted his autograph as "he is famous and is all over social media".

He was described in a letter written by the officer to a judge as "over-confident" and someone who "presented with no remorse".

A victim impact statement from the manager of the Lush store said the incident had "massively impacted" the staff.

Some of the employees claim they "cannot bring themselves to come back to the store as they are frightened it will happen again".

The probation officer also detailed how Honey had described how he "went into Greggs to have a drink as the pepper spray made him thirsty".

Police later confirmed 11 officers were injured as the city was left covered in debris from the rampage.
