THIS is the moment a thug beat a passer-by with a child's scooter in a vicious attack - while horrified onlookers watched.
Footage shows the brawl on the Regent's Canal towpath in Camden, north London yesterday evening.
A man is seen repeatedly beating another man on the ground with a scooter.
He lands a flurry of blows to the man's head and body with the children's toy.
Members of the public then finally intervene in the fight - trying to hold back the scooter-wielding man.
The man then walks away from the towpath near popular tourist spot Camden Market.

His victim is left bleeding dazed on the towpath following the brutal beating.
Cops and paramedics were called to reports of an assault on Hawley Wharf at 8.53pm yesterday.
They found a man in his thirties who had been struck "multiple times to the body and head" with a scooter.
The man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Scotland Yard said a man has been arrested on suspicion of intention to cause grievous bodily harm.
A spokesman told The Sun: "Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
"We are aware that footage of this incident is circulating on social media."
