Stabbing victim rushes into BBC Broadcasting House after being attacked outside Radio 2 as armed police hunt knifeman

ARMED police have stormed a street next to BBC Broadcasting House after a young man was stabbed outside the entrance to the Radio 2 studios.

Eyewitnesses said two men were arguing on the street before one attacked another with a knife.

It is understood a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital for a stab injury on his hand.

The reports blood was found in and around the entrance to the building, which has been closed.

And onlookers told the that "drops of blood" had been seen in the doorway and in the reception area.

The reports that the victim was stabbed outside the studio and then attempted to flee inside the building.
