The mum had her baby in a pushchair at the time of the widespread violence, which came as riots erupted across the country.

Smith wept as she admitted a charge of violent disorder at Manchester Magistrates' Court.

A judge blasted: "You put your own child at risk.";

The mum had been taking the child to see her grandmother when she spotted her auntie near the hotel.

She then "lost her temper" as the crowd began hurling missiles at police when they tried to ease tensions.

Prosecutor Tess Kenyon said: "This was after two people who were seeking asylum had gone into the hotel.

"She had a child in a stroller with her at the time."

Robert Moussalli, defending, said Smith was "deeply sorry" over her actions.

The mum was bailed ahead of sentencing at Manchester Crown Court on August 19.

The attack came following the deaths of Bebe King, six, nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, in Southport on July 29.

Posts wrongly claimed suspect Axel Rudakubana was a Muslim asylum seeker when he was actually born in Cardiff and raised Christian.

Police have made more than 975 arrests and brought 546 charges over the disorder across the UK.

Yesterday, a 13-year-old girl became Britain’s youngest female rioter to be convicted after joining a mob who hurled missiles at a migrant hotel.

The teen was involved in the anti-immigration demonstration in Aldershot, Hampshire.

Meanwhile, an alleged rioter was slammed by a judge for skiving his court date to jet off to Dubai.

Perrie Fisher, 28, failed to show at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court following the "pre-booked" holiday.

He is accused of joining a 200-strong pack of thugs who hurled missiles at riot police outside an asylum seeker hotel in Aldershot, Hampshire.
