Brit terror suspect linked to notorious ‘White Widow’ arrested by Met Police after deportation from Kenya
A BRIT terror suspect linked to the notorious “White Widow” has been deported from Kenya.
Jermaine Grant, 41, arrived in the UK on Thursday and was immediately nicked by Met cops - after spending a lengthy jail term in the African country.
He was locked up in Mombasa after possessing bomb-making materials and forging documents to get Kenyan citizenship.
A government spokeswoman told the Daily Telegraph: “We can confirm that an individual was deported to the UK following the completion of a criminal sentence in Kenya.
“Our priority remains to ensure the safety and security of the UK.
“We will continue to do whatever is necessary to protect the UK and have one of the most robust counter-terrorism frameworks in the world to ensure this.”
