Super-rich kid slapped with half a dozen fines for parking his £250,000 Lamborghini in spot ‘reserved for the mayor’ REFUSES to stop
Ash White, 22, previously boasted he didn't care about the cost of the tickets for parking outside town hall in Cheltenham
A RICH kid has refused to stop parking his £250,000 Lamborghini in a space reserved for the mayor – despite already having six tickets overturned using legal technicality.
Ash White, 22, was slapped with over half a dozen parking fines after brazenly parking his bright orange sports car outside Cheltenham town hall in a space reserved for the Mayor.
White enlisted the help of a parking law expert who forced Gloucestershire County Council to cancel the fines in December.
But the brazen "fashion company boss" has returned to park a black Lamborghini in the exact same spot.
Parking law expert Nigel Wise, who helped Ash fight his first tickets, said: "There is no such thing as a priority space for the mayor.
"They are just putting up restrictions willy-nilly."
Wise said all parking restrictions must comply with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, which he says contains no mention of special parking for the mayor.
But council parking bosses insist parking legislation had been updated.
White successfully beat his previous parking fines on a technicality.
The fashion tycoon - who pricey ripped jeans are worn by some of the cast of Geordie Shore - claimed victory after he successfully argued the road markings should have been painted outside the bay.
Wise told : "All six tickets were cancelled.
"Their excuse for cancelling four tickets was because they had been incorrectly issued for the wrong contravention.
"Their excuse for cancelling the remaining two tickets was because they say that the legend 'Mayor's Car' was painted inside the bay and not outside it."
He added: "They then wasted taxpayers money and had the legend repainted outside the bay.
"They left the original legend inside the bay. This did not make the bay enforceable as there is no such recognised restriction as a 'Mayor's Car' bay."
Nigel Riglar, director of communities and infrastructure at Gloucestershire County Council, said: "The Council is continuing to enforce on street parking in Cheltenham and across the county.
"The restrictions are intended to make parking easier for residents and visitors alike; residents have the option to lodge an appeal on any ticket issued and, if they are still unhappy, can pursue the matter with the Traffic Penalty Tribunal."
White, who lives in Cheltenham and runs the Hera fashion company in London, has previously boasted he does not care about the cost of parking fines because he can afford it.
He said: "There isn't anywhere to park in Cheltenham and I'm not going to walk or take a taxi from a car park to get into town so I'm forced to park in different places.
"I don't mind paying up, the tickets don't bother me."
Last week Brooklyn Beckham scored his fourth parking ticket in two months on his £37,000 Mercedes.
And in October we told how the owner of a £400,000 rose gold Lamborghini Aventador would rather get a ticket for parking on double yellows than risk damage to his motor in public car parks.
