Ex-MrBeast staffer Ava Kris Tyson’s online messages that sparked grooming claims despite denial from alleged victim
"CONCERNING" online messages supposedly sent by Ava Kris Tyson, a former co-host and employee for MrBeast, have been revealed as the alleged victim has denied any grooming occurred.
Tyson, 28, has been accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor eight years ago when the alleged victim and fan was only 13-years-old.
The victim, who has publicly identified themselves and Tyson but will not be named by The U.S. Sun, has denied any wrongdoing occurred.
In a post to X, the fan and later employee of MrBeast, claimed they are “not a victim.”
“Nothing bad happened between me and Kris, people are creating lies around my name,” they wrote.
Tyson and the alleged victim began talking when Tyson was 20 years old after the fan won an online competition.

At the time, Tyson had not come out as transgender and used the name Chris Tyson.
They allegedly messaged each other for several years on public online forums via Discord and X, which was known as Twitter at the time.
Messages reviewed by reveal that the then-minor would call Tyson “big boy,” “dad” and “sexy.”
The two also reportedly discussed hentai – anime pornography.

In one interaction on X in 2018, Tyson allegedly shared an image of her Patreon saying she would be “releasing my noods” if she scored another sign-up, according to Roling Stone.
The alleged victim responded by saying “I’m your first Patreon big boy.”
Tyson reportedly replied writing, “I posted some fire noods for you. Pls no share.”
No nude images were shared, according to Rolling Stone.
Another concerning interaction reportedly occurred in a Discord server when the alleged victim shared an image from Tyson’s group chat.
The image reportedly showed Tyson in front of an American flag with the caption “Cumming for America.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the former MrBeast employee said there was nothing unusual about these conversations or interactions.
“I was at the age where I spoke to all my friends like that,” they said.
“There was nothing more than that. It’s how bros talk…I saw Kris as an older brother because he reminded me a lot of my older brother.”
The alleged victim told the outlet that Tyson was unaware of their age until 2018 and did not provide additional details.
The alleged victim began working for MrBeast and his YouTube channel in 2020, thanks to some help from Tyson at the time.
MrBeast's Response
"Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson's behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts," MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, on X.
"During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts.
"That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast.
"I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.
"I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings."
In July 2020, they also visited MrBeast’s compound in North Carolina with their family.
The alleged victim worked for MrBeast until 2021 and reportedly remained in contact with Tyson afterwards, according to Rolling Stone.
However, they now “no longer” wish to be involved with the embattled influencer.
The alleged victim pointed to the rapid increase in anti-transgender comments being directed at Tyson in light of the accusations.
“I do not appreciate [the transphobic comments] being attached to my name, I have my own personal beliefs about the situation as everyone should,” they told Rolling Stone.
“I believe attacking someone while using my name is completely uncalled for.”
They also later released a statement condemning the messages sent when they were still a minor.
“These conversations should not have happened with people at the age I was at the time; I strongly condemn them,” the statement read, according to .
“I was a minor in this situation and not the adult influencer who shouldn’t have allowed this to happen. I did not see this as wrong at the time.”
Stepping Aside Amid Investigations
Tyson has announced she is stepping away from the MrBeast YouTube channel.
In a statement, the former co-host apologized for any of her past behavior or comments that may have caused pain or offense.
“It was not my intent,” she said.
"Seeing recent events we've mutually decided it's best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health."
MrBeast, who’s real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has also broken his silence on the matter.
Donaldson revealed he has hired outside investigators to look into the allegations.
