LUCY Letby will be the "target of napalm attacks" in jail and will be constantly "looking over her shoulder", a former prison boss claims.
NHS nurse Letby was convicted of another newborn baby's attempted murder this month following a retrial.
Last year she was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill another six at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
The 34-year-old is serving 15 whole-life orders for the offences and will die in prison.
Letby is thought to be an inmate at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey, after she was moved from HMP Low Newton in Durham.
Retired prison governor Vanessa Frake spent three decades in charge of inmates like Myra Hindley and Rose West.

Vanessa said prison officers will have their work cut out trying to stop lags from attacking Letby.
She told the : "You've got the likes of serial killer Joanna Dennehy behind bars who murders for fun.
"Women who have had children, who are carers and nurturers, will see the likes of Letby as lower than low.
"I imagine she will be looking over her shoulder for the rest of her time."

Vanessa said that Letby could be attacked with "prison napalm", a mix of boiling water and sugar which sticks to the skin like super glue.
Other potential weapons include razor blades melted into a toothbrush, plastic cutlery, or pool balls and batteries in a sock.
But Letby will likely be housed in a Vulnerable Prisoners Unit for her own protection.
VPUs are special wings for prisoners like paedophiles, informants or bent cops who are likely to face attacks from mainstream inmates.
Letby has reportedly struck up friendships with child killers Michelle Smith and Shauna Hoare behind bars.
HMP Wormwood Scrubs veteran Vanessa said "like-minded prisoners" often have a pull towards each other.
It comes after Letby cried "I'm innocent" as she was handed another whole life order for attempting to murder a baby girl.
Sentencing, Mr Justice Goss said: "I repeat what I have said before, only you know the reason or reasons for your murderous campaign.
The judge added: "It was another shocking act of calculated, callous cruelty.
"During the course of this trial, as you did in the last trial, you have coldly denied any responsibility for any of your wrongdoing,
"And you have sought to attribute fault to others. You have no remorse."
In a harrowing victim impact statement, Baby K's mum said the day her daughter died, her world "fell apart".
She told how police got in touch in 2017 to tell the family the baby's death was under investigation.
The mum said she wondered "how could we let this happen to her?" and described the horror as "unthinkable".
She said:"The upheaval of Baby K’s death, the six year wait for first trial, eight month trial, the verdict and then learning we were doing it over again was heart-wrenching.
"But our baby girl needs a voice, we had to, we had no choice.
“Baby K is not here, never will be, we will never have what would give us peace, closure, or a feeling of being complete family unit.
"However, you Lucy Letby, will never hurt another child or have the privilege and joy that children give.”
Prosecutor Nick Johnson KC said: "The truth is that Lucy Letby had a fascination with the babies she had murdered and attempted to murder, and with their families.
"She took pleasure in her murderous handiwork."
But giving evidence, Letby told lie after lie as she claimed she no recollection of the heartbreaking events.
She even continued to maintain her innocence over her previous grisly crimes.
The nurse, who had attempted to get the case thrown out, also said she was "not the sort of person that kills babies".
