Nigel Farage hints at move to the US as he addresses cheering Trump supporters and predicts ‘global revolution’ against elites

NIGEL Farage hinted at a permanent move to America as he gave a barnstorming address to US conservatives.
And he predicted that Brexit and Donald Trump's election triumph spelled the beginning of a "global revolution" against elites.

Speaking at the influential Conservative Political Action Conference, the ex-Ukip leader was treated to huge applause as he barked: "2016, we did it!"
He went on to signal a potential move across the pond after being handed a contributor role on conservative TV channel Fox News.
"Since November 2016, since the election of Donald J Trump, every time I come to America I feel a little bit more American", he said to cheers from right wing activists in Maryland.
"We witnessed the beginning of a global political revolution.
"And it's one that is not going to stop", he continued. "It's one that is going to roll out across the rest of the free world."

His comments referred to upcoming elections in France, the Netherlands and Germany where populist rightwing candidates are storming ahead in polls.
"The nation-state democracy made a comeback against the globalists", he said summing up the political earthquakes witnessed last year.
And he added that there are more "very exciting elections" in store over the coming months.
Predicting possible criticism over he and Trump's anti-immigrant stances, Farage said: "We've got to be clear; we're not against anybody based on religion or ethnicity.
"But we're for ourselves. We're for our country. We're for our communities. We're for making our people safe, and with less risk from global terror."
He also joked about the "abuse" Trump supporters have had since the election.
"You've only had a few months of being abused. I've had 20 years of it", he said.
Earlier President Trump addressed the conference, stepping up his war on the "fake news" media and FBI "leakers".
