It came after his yellow Urus was snapped doing 90mph by a camera on the M5 in Bristol in January last year.

Mr Yakoob has pleaded not guilty and will face trial at Cannock magistrates’ court in September.

The lawyer, who lives in a £350,000 semi in Birmingham, boasts he has a £1million car collection.

He is also being investigated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority for promoting a TikTok video purporting to show a female teacher, 27, saying a racist slur.

He named her — leading to her being inundated with threats and abuse.

It emerged she did not say the slur and the captions on the video were misleading. Mr Yakoob has apologised.

Mr Yakoob, director of Maurice Andrews Solicitors, is representing Fahir and his brother Amaad, who were arrested at Manchester Airport on Tuesday night.

He has described the incident as an “attempted joint enterprise assassination” by police.
