CAGED hate killer Tanveer Ahmed has asked to move prisons - so he can be closer to his family.
The ‘evil’ murderer of popular Glasgow shopkeeper Asad Shah wants to be nearer his relatives in Bradford.
But last night, prison chiefs were urged to reject his request for a transfer from the city’s Barlinnie nick.
Tory shadow justice secretary Douglas Ross blasted: “This evil individual denied Asad Shah ever being close to his family again.
“His hankering for his own family should not be entertained.”
But a source said: “Generally speaking, the Scottish Prison Service are happy to get rid of a prisoner from elsewhere.
The hate killer lost a bid to in November with outrage a month later after he got to foot his defence - despite plotting the crime from his home in England.
