They have confirmed the stop and Darin Snapp from the Kansas City Police Department told : "We're talking to friends trying to find out exactly why she was in that area."

He added: "Improper lane change is what she was stopped for. She stated to the officer that she was almost out of gas. There's a QuikTrip real close."

Snapp said she was then directed to the gas station: "So the officer just told her, you know, 'there's a gas station right there,' gave her a warning for the violation, and watched her actually go to the QuikTrip and that's the last we have seen of her."

Snapp said: 'There is no evidence of foul play but her disappearance is very concerning.'

Toni's boyfriend Pete Sanchez since her disappearance: "Every time I leave the house, I hope the next face I see in public is going to be her.

"It was just like any other night. I just thought she'd come home."

He added: “It`s very comforting to know we have many media sources sharing everything going on online.”
The couple had been living together in Kansas City for two years, and it was the first time she had disappeared.

Pete has never been a suspect in her disappearance.

A campaign has been set up to raise funds for a reward and hire a private investigator, which has already reached $10,000.
