Cesspit killer Ian Stewart paid tribute to first wife on her birthday with ‘X’ Facebook post just nine days after murdering fiance Helen Bailey

KILLER Ian Stewart remembered the wife he lost to “a sudden unexplained death” with a kiss on her birthday on social media - just nine days after reporting fiancé Helen Bailey missing.

The evil husband posted a simple tribute to Diane on her Facebook memorial page.

A huge kiss from him marks the sixth birthday since her death on April 24 last year.

Above is his name, the date and a picture of him smiling with popular children’s author Helen and her pet dog – at this time both had chillingly been murdered by him.

On the tribute page Diane’s sister Wendy Bellamy-Lee posted: “Birthday remembrance wishes dear Diane. Love always.”

The school secretary’s mystery death in June 2010 is now going to be investigated after accountant Stewart, 56, faces life behind bars for the “cynically motivated” murder of the writer.

Police today said the “sudden, unexpected” passing of Stewart’s wife of 20 years  would now be re-examined.

Mum-of-two Diane, 47, died in the couple’s garden in Bassingbourn, Cambs, as she suffered an epileptic fit.

After an inquest sister Wendy flagged concerns that the family had, writing on Facebook: “We’re still numb and completely shocked today as to why it happened with so many unanswered questions!”

Among tributes on a page dedicated to Diane - “a dear wife to Ian and loving mother to Jamie and Oliver, wonderful daughter to Noreen and Roy and fantastic sister to Wendy and Chris” -  is one saying: “We’re left with a pain that no one can heal. You’ve gone too soon.”

Friends and family have also posted photos of happy occasions in memory of Diane who was “loved and admired by all who knew her” but who “tragically lost her life suddenly and completely unexpected.”

Stewart is yet to be sentenced after being found guilty of killing his fiancé, 51, to get his hands on her £4 million fortune.

He had reported her missing on April 15 last year after drugging her, suffocating her then dumping her body in a cesspit at their home.

Helen's friends rervealed evil Stewart was driven into a jealous fury by his fiancée’s miniature dachshund.

Pals told how they sent her desperate text messages unaware she lay decomposing in a cesspit in her garage.
