DONALD Trump's granddaughter Kai has followed in her grandfather's footsteps and shares his love of golf and unwavering patriotism for the United States.
Kai, 17, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and the eldest grandchild of the former president, took the stage at the Republican National Convention back in July.
"I am honored to be speaking at the RNC at 9 pm (CDT)," she posted on her Instagram Stories at the time.
She also shared a picture of Trump, 78, alongside his vice presidential pick, Ohio Senator JD Vance.
Kai took the stage at the RNC in Milwaukee, , and was introduced by her dad.
Don Jr. said Kai asked to speak at the convention just days after the attempted assassination of Trump.
"Before I begin my remarks, I’m going to do something a little uncharacteristic: a Trump is going to give up the microphone," Trump Jr said.
Kai walked out and hugged her dad before launching into a brief speech - her first of the sort, according to her father.
She began by sharing her view of the former president, a side of him that "people don’t often see."
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa," Kai said.

She talked about how the two play golf together and Trump tries to get inside her head.
“And he’s always surprised that I don’t let him get to me,” she said.
“I have to remind him that I’m a Trump too."
Kai is one of Trump's 10 grandchildren and the daughter of Donald Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump.
Her other siblings include Tristian, Spencer, and Chloe.
She has attended many family events in the spotlight including Trump's inauguration and Ivana Trump's funeral.
In June, she shared a of her family attending a Turning Point Action event in Detroit, Michigan with Trump.
HOLE IN ONE
Kai is an avid golfer which she posts about on social media and her YouTube channel.
The first video, posted to her channel on October 10, 2023, was titled, "Get to Know Kai Trump!"
She played golf as her friend asked questions about her interests and hobbies.
Kai said her favorite things included pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks, playing watersports and tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
She said her favorite foods were prosciutto meat and ricotta cheese.
The teen also shared her hopes for her channel.

In March, she won the ladies club championship at Trump's golf course in Palm Beach, Florida.
She shared the exciting news with a post featuring the former president smiling next to her.
"Great competition from some impressive players. I shot even both days and won both matches," she on Instagram.
"Very proud of my game and where it's heading but there is always room for improvement."
Over the summer, Kai committed to attending the University of Miami.
In an Instagram post, she thanked her family and mentors for their help in getting her to this monumental point.
"I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point."
She even took time to shout out her grandpa.
"I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support," she wrote.
"I am supper excited to be a cane and represent the University of Miami. Gooo Canes!"

Kai Madison Trump, 17, spoke at the Republican National Convention on July 17.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa," Kai said.
"He calls me during the school day to ask me how my golf game is going."
Kai said she has to then remind Trump she's in school and she'll call him back later.
"He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren't looking," she continued.
Kai also mentioned his pride in his grandchildren, recalling a time he printed out her honor roll certificate and hung it up.
"Obviously, he sets the bar pretty high, but who knows, maybe one day I'll catch him," Kai continued.
"A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell and he's still standing."
'NEVER STOP FIGHTING'
Following the assassination attempt on Trump at his rally in Bulter, Pennsylvania, Kai made a heartwarming post, supporting her grandfather.
She posted a picture of the former president with his fist raised and blood splattered across his face as he was being led away by the Secret Service.
"We love you, Grandpa. Never stop fighting!" she .
Kai also addressed the assassination attempt during her RNC speech.
