The OnlyFans model appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today where she denied assault by beating.

Thomas-Bowen also pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal damage.

She allegedly stained a bystander’s £30 jacket with the milkshake during the June 4 drama.

The model faces a maximum six months in prison for the assault charge if convicted.

The court was told the so-called “milkshaking” was a “protest” at Farage’s campaign.

But Thomas-Bowen’s lawyers indicated there was a “reasonable excuse” for the alleged offence.

Andrew Price said: “There is some difficulty in this case as to whether this constitutes violence or not.”

Thomas-Bowen was granted unconditional bail ahead of a trial set for October 21.

It was not confirmed whether Farage will be required to attend the case.

Caroline Liggins, partner at Hodge Jones & Allen, which represents the model, said after the hearing: “My client strongly protests her innocence and looks forward to fighting these unjust charges in court.”

Farage had been out in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, addressing supporters after announcing he would stand for election in the constituency.

As he left the Moon and Starfish pub, he was doused in a thick yellow liquid.

He was seen with the banana milkshake splattered across his dark blue suit as he boarded his campaign bus.

The ex-UKIP leader, 60, later made light of the incident by posing with his own shake on X.

He joked: “My milkshake brings all the people to the rally.”

Farage later described the incident as “quite scary”, adding: “No one goes out and does the old-style street campaigning the way that I do, and this is the risk that goes with it.”

It was the second time the I’m a Celeb star has been targeted with milkshake.

In 2019, the Brexiteer was covered head-to-toe in liquid while out in Newcastle in 2019.

Essex Police said: “A woman is due to appear in court following an incident Clacton.

“The charges relate to an incident in which a drink was thrown at a man in the area of Marine Parade East, Clacton, at around 2.10pm on Tuesday 4 June.”
