11-year-old boy ‘raped’ younger foster brother at family home, court hears
The seven-year-old victim hid behind a pillow as he told police assaulted him 'every day' during the summer holidays
AN 11-year-old asylum seeker raped his younger foster brother at their home, a court heard.
The victim, now seven, alerted his grandmother after the Albanian had allegedly attacked him in a bedroom in the family home they shared in the summer holidays.
He later told police: “He did some bad stuff to me. He hurt me. He does it every day.”
The accused, now 14, who cannot be named for legal reasons, came to the UK alone aged nine and had been with the family for 2½ years in Reading, Berks.
Footage of police interviews with the little boy, watched by the jury, showed him being reluctant to recount his ordeal but telling police the teenager had punched and kicked him.
