One horrified local told how armed cops swarmed the quiet residential street last night

Footage obtained by The Sun showed police dogs and around 12 specialist cops raiding the terraced home on Rendlesham Road in North London, at 11.30am this morning.

One officer can be heard screaming: “Armed Police, come to the door and raise your hands” as cops barge through the front of the property.

Local resident

It is unclear who or what cops discovered in the home but at least two officers are still at the scene of the raid.

A source said: “It’s a really heavy response — and shocking for everyone to see.

“They charged in and spent quite a while in the home. It didn’t seem like anyone was there”.

A neighbour of the raided property said they didn’t know who was living there and believed the terraced home was empty.

The man, who asked not to be named, said: “I don’t know who is there, to be honest, I thought it was empty.”

Another resident on the quiet street said: “The police haven’t been round to talk to us yet.

Several unmarked police vehicles are also at the scene.

Residents claimed they've been told a "coordinated search" is underway in the area and local primary schools have been urged to keep children inside.

Meanwhile, a "car of possible interest" has also been located at the Hilly Fields scene.

It is understood cops have found Clifford's vehicle, a black Seat hatchback.

The manhunt suspect is believed to have driven from the scene and the car was found abandoned.

It comes as chilling footage has emerged appearing to show Kyle fleeing the scene with a three-foot crossbow.

The clip showed a man dressed all in black carrying a "huge" under his right arm.

SEARCH ZONING IN

The search is currently focused in the Clay Hill area of 62-acre woodland — less than half a mile from the home police dramatically raided earlier.

Officers with police dogs are now sweeping the woodland and have advanced around 150 metres while checking bushes and shrubs for the suspected triple killer.

Cops conducted a brief preparation meeting in the car park of the Rose and Crown pub before heading into the park.

Walkers in the area were told to exit the woodland by armed and masked police officers while The Sun’s reporter and cameraman were also moved back.

It is understood officers from multiple forces including the Met and armed units from the City of London Police are involved in the major operations

One walker told The Sun: “They told me there was a major search and we had to go.

“There were police dogs — they clearly think he may be around here.”

He was also filmed carrying a bag cops fear could be a cache of Clifford's further weapons - before climbing into a black Seat.

A source said: “You can see clearly from the outline of what is under the sheet that it is in the shape of a crossbow - but it’s massive.

“When we first heard the weapon was involved no-one thought it might be that big - it makes you wonder where he got it from.

A spokesperson from Enfield Council wrote on X: "You will be aware of the news of the suspect Kyle Clifford from the Enfield area, wanted in relation to a triple murder in Bushey.

"We have been advised by the Police that there is no perceived threat to the public so the guidance is to carry on as normal."

'CROSSBOW KILLING'

Hertfordshire Constabulary have warned the public "not to approach" suspect Clifford, 26, as their specialist search continues.

It comes after three women were discovered seriously injured at a property in Bushey, Hertfordshire, yesterday evening.

The victims, aged 25, 28 and 61-years-old, sadly could not be saved despite the best efforts of paramedics.

The women are said to be the family of a BBC star, as reported by the .

It is understood the three women were related to John Hunt, a BBC Five Live racing commentator.

One of the victims has been named locally as Carol Hunt, 61, alongside her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25.
