RESIDENTS who live in what has been called the UK’s favourite village say it’s packed with A-list celebs and its farm shop is loved by a senior royal.
Kingham, in Chipping Norton, set in the beautiful Cotswold Hills is full of picturesque cottages and cosy village pubs.
The village green is bordered by gorgeous homes, with many of them dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
There’s also a local shop and a church.
Nearby there is the Daylesford Organic which has been dubbed the UK’s poshest farm shop and is said to be a favourite of Princess Eugenie.
In fact, the village is something of a foodie paradise with its pubs, the Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, both highly regarded.

The farm owned by Blur bassist Alex James also plays host to the annual Big Feastival.
Daylesford is also thought to have been the inspiration for Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm.
During the Covid lockdown’s Daylesford also delivered food hampers to Boris Johnson at Number 10.
If that wasn’t enough, it is also believed to be the go-to shop for the Beckhams and Ellie Goulding, who is thought to be a regular and live nearby.

Goulding moved to the area in 2021 as the singer and her husband, the art dealer Casper Jopling, were cooped up in their Cotswold home during the pandemic.
Their six-bedroom £1.3million manor house was renovated to restore a barn to its original state.
Actor Eddie Redmayne is also said to have been spotted shopping there.

Locals say there is something that sets their little community head and shoulders above others in the area, even though the cost of living is high.
It manages to be a quaint rural village, while still providing excellent access to a major city, in the form of , just about six miles away.
Living there, you can enjoy the bird song and watch horses grazing as you stroll through the fields and farms, knowing you are just 20 minutes drive from the biggest and social centre in the county.
The little village, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book from 1086, also boasts its own post office, library and , as well as one of Britain's oldest fish and chip shops.
