GLOATING Lily Allen has been slammed on Twitter after posting a celebratory message reacting to claims the pound will plunge as a result of Brexit.
The singer retweeted a story from Russian state news channel Russia Today which said the pound will 'not stabilise any time soon' with a string of celebration emojis.
The tweet was a prediction from Deutsche Bank which said the falling pound was a result of the Brexit vote.
But social media users were quick to slam Brexit hating Allen for her views with one replying: “Not falling as fast as your dismal record sales though.”
Another added: “Thanks for that unbiased opinion @lilyallen I will really take it on board! You & your ilk are absolutely begging for self destruction.”

One Twitter user dismissed the claims as “fake news” and told the 31-year-old pop luvvie to “try harder”.
Last month the Smile singer claimed the world hates Britain because of its historical involvement in slavery.
However she then deleted the tweet after getting lambasted by social media users.
One told her to “go and read a history book”, pointing out that slavery was a historical human problem throughout the world.
Lily also caused fury last year for “apologising” for Britain’s treatment of migrants.
The singer took it upon herself to say sorry “on behalf of my country” to an Afghan teen trying to reach the UK.
But the encounter, filmed at the Jungle camp in Calais for the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire Show, sparked a backlash.
