Thug who ordered acid attack on TV presenter Katie Piper could soon be free
THE man who ordered the acid attack on TV presenter Katie Piper could soon be free.
Ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch arranged for Stefan Sylvestre to throw corrosives at the model — leaving her scarred and blind in one eye.
The martial arts expert got life with a minimum of 16 years’ jail in 2009.
The Parole Board said yesterday there will be a private hearing for Lynch on July 23 and 24.
Such a hearing takes place when there is a “realistic prospect” of release or to consider a move to an open prison.
At trial, the judge described the acid attack as “pure, calculated and deliberate evil”.
