HORRIFYING footage has emerged online of a mass brawl outside an Edinburgh pub following the Hearts vs Hibs derby.
The clip appears to show a large crowd of rival fans exchange blows at the International Bar in the city’s Brougham Place on Sunday night.
Cops raced to the scene at 8.40pm following reports of a disturbance, hours after the heated Edinburgh derby finished a 0 – 0 draw at Tynecastle.
The shocking melee was filmed from a flat across the road and the video was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday with the title: “Hearts CSF vs Hibs Capital City Service.”
Cops have confirmed that two men, both in their 30s, had to be taken to hospital with head injuries.
Officers are now investigating the shocking incident.
A police spokesperson said: "Police in Edinburgh were called to Brougham Place at 8.40pm on Sunday 12 February following reports of a disturbance.
“Two men, aged 33 and 35, were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with head injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
The horrific footage shows the fight starting with those trying to get into the pub squaring up to those already inside.
A large-scale brawl then breaks out, with the fighting spilling out around the pavement near the bar.
One of the men uses a chair as weapon and throws it into the boozer before the large group begin to head off up a side street.
The fight appears to have ended but one man, dressed in red, runs out from the bar and charges at the group which starts the fighting again.
An ambulance drives past, as the group begin to run off.
After the fighting has stopped, one disorientated man stumbles from the pub with his face covered in blood as two other pub-goers try to help him.
Another man is seen with an obvious, bloody head wound.
The clip was uploaded to YouTube and filmed on February 12, the day of the latest Scottish Cup derby at Tynecastle.
The game itself ended in a off in a replay at Easter Road in the Cup replay.
