Union’s shame
OF all the junior doctors’ 11 strikes the latest five-day walkout is the most shamefully malicious.
The BMA union knows there is no current Government to force into negotiations over their fantasy 35 per cent pay claim. Not six days from an election.
And that is, of course, the real point.
For all their protests that their stoppages are not part of a political campaign, the sole purpose of this one is to cause yet more misery for NHS patients, to hammer the Tories and make Labour’s path to power even smoother.
If you are sick and on a waiting list, if your op or appointment has now been cancelled, you are collateral damage for the little Marxist posers running the BMA’s junior doctors section.
Their last strike in February axed 91,048 appointments and ops. The total is nearly 1.5million from all their walkouts. And there is zero justification for abandoning their duties now.

They could simply wait for the likely accession of Wes Streeting, almost certainly a more sympathetic ear, as Health Secretary next Friday.
Instead, as a last two-fingered salute to the Tories they despise, they have chosen to prolong the pain and anguish of the sick. Some will doubtless die.
So much for the “do no harm” oath.
This union — and its young militant Corbynite leaders especially — are a sickening disgrace to the medical profession which trained them.

Lingo loons
THE world over, immigrants enter countries illegally.
Making them “illegal immigrants”.
The term does not judge. It describes. It distinguishes them, not unfairly, from the majority who immigrate legally.
The woke clowns running London Metropolitan University have banned it, though, for being dehumanising.
But then these are snowflakes so clueless they also find offence in “elderly, OAPs or pensioners” — on behalf of oldies more than tough enough to cope.
Students and staff, the uni says, must use words that “recognise our lived experience and truly promote equitable outcomes”.
And it has produced a guide full of Orwellian “doublespeak” — arguing that language is “fluid”.
In this case, more like “effluent”.
Bloated Beeb
RICHARD Osman is a funny bloke — and his latest gag that “the BBC has pretty much run out of money” is a cracker.
We assume it’s a joke.
The Beeb is, after all, handed nearly £4billion a year extracted by force from the public.

Pointless? That certainly is.
