Distressing moment pregnant teen, 17, screams in pain as cops fire stun gun at her after she ‘shoved officer into a wall’

FOOTAGE of burly cops tasering a pregnant teenager as she screams in agony is being investigated by police chiefs in New York.

A witness can be heard pleading "She's pregnant, she's pregnant" as the officers zap distressed Dailene Rosario, 17, in her apartment.

They were attempting to subdue her after she allegedly shoved an officer into a wall.

Cops who were called to deal with an unrelated incident reportedly found Dailene's boyfriend fighting another man over a video game at the Bronx apartment block.

Dailene can be heard saying: "Get off of me, get off of me" as the officers hold her down and try to put handcuffs on her.

She then shouts: "Yo, why are you cuffing me? I didn't do anything."

Finally they shock her with the stun gun and she slumps to the ground screaming in pain.

Dailene, said to be 14 weeks pregnant, told news channel PIX11 News she does not understand why officers turned their attention to her.

She said of the moment she was tasered: "It's like your whole side is on fire and you're being stabbed at the same time."

She was charged with resisting arrest, second degree harassment and disorderly conduct.

But the NYPD launched an investigation after the mobile phone footage was broadcast on US media.

The force said: “We are aware of the incident. It is under internal review.”
