THE distraught mum of missing Jay Slater has revealed how she's "at her wits' end" following her son's disappearance.
School finance officer Debbie, 55, said she's "barely slept" since Jay vanished without a trace in Tenerife on June 17.
It comes as Jay's ex-girlfriend and friends have arrived on the island from Lancashire to help in the hunt.
Debbie said: "It's been a week now and it's been awful. I've barely slept and I'm at my wits' end.
"The Spanish police are doing a good job and we are getting updated from the consulate so we just put our faith in them."
The night before his last known sighting, Jay left a music festival with two new pals who had hired a car.
