Shocking injuries of Good Samaritan punched repeatedly in the face in brutal mugging outside Asda

Chef was attacked after two men and a woman asked him for help in the early hours of the morning

A GOOD Samaritan who was repeatedly smacked in the face after being "ambushed" near an Asda has shared a shocking image of his injuries.

Nathan Peck, from St Austell, Cornwall, says he was attacked by two men and a woman after one of them asked him for help.

Nathan shared an image of his swollen face on Facebook with the comment: "Just got ambushed, if you are near Asda and there is a person asking for help have a quick look around, just got attacked by 3 people and they take what ever you have in your wallet."

Nathan, whose Facebook page says he works as a chef, later thanked people in a follow-up post and said he had been left with a "killer headache", .

Cops are now hunting the the trio after the attack at roughly 3.50am on Tuesday.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said in a statement: "Police were called to an assault on Cromwell Road, St Austell, just before 4am on Tuesday, February 14.

The spokesperson added: "The victim, a man in his 20s, was confronted by two unknown men and one woman. The men have punched the victim in the face multiple times, causing visible injuries.

"The first man is described as white, 5ft 5ins, wearing jeans and a hoodie. The second man is described as white, 5ft 8ins, wearing jeans. The woman is described as white, 5ft 4ins, wearing leggings.

"Anyone with relevant information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting CR/010965/17.

"Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Earlier this week two members of G4 were attacked by a mugger who tried to take laptop.

In November last year a mugging victim released images of her horror injuries after she was attacked on Halloween.
