DJ Madskie - real name Malachi Halstead - faces jail after commiting gruesome act and boasting on social media
A DJ has been found guilty after savagely chopping a man's finger off with a meat cleaver and posting the footage on Snapchat.
DJ Madskie - real name Malachi Halstead - lured the victim into his car and drove to a graveyard before telling him "Tonight you're losing something."
Halstead, 35 set out to hack off victim Teerath Mann's finger as a means of revenge after suspecting the 23-year-old was stealing from him.
Halstead drove to a nearby place and parked up, before getting out of the vehicle with Mann, Cardiff Crown Court was told.
The victim was made to put his finger on a wooden pole while the twisted DJ held up the weapon telling him to "Say hello to my little friend."
He then bragged about the gruesome act by posting footage on Snapchat.
In the clip Halstead is heard saying "Anyone f***s with me, this is what I do to him, I chop their digits."
The court heard Mann was selling drugs for the DJ but things took a turn for the worse after Halstead suspected money had gone missing.
The entertainer denied the attack and claimed a 'Mr Biggs' had ambushed the victim while in the graveyard.
The court heard Mr Biggs was "a figment of Halstead's imagination".
Halstead, from Newport, South Wales was found guilty of wounding with intent after a five day trial.
His on-off girlfriend Nicole Seaborne was cleared of providing the sicko with the weapon.
He will be sentenced later today.
