Facebook is fuelling the Valentine’s Day mood by letting you share cards – and here’s how to do it

FACEBOOK is helping its users spread the love today by letting them share Valentine’s Cards.

The virtual Valentine’s can be posted on your timeline or sent to a friend.

And it couldn’t be easier.

All you need do is look out for the Happy Valentine’s Day message at the top of your News Feed.

Once you’ve found that, click on “Browse” and you’ll be able to check out a series of custom-designed cards created by artists and illustrators from New York and London.

Find one you like and share your happiness with all and sundry.

Facebook wants to introduce you to total strangers with creepy new function

The fun function comes as the social network rolled out a new tool designed to introduce you to people you've never met before.

The "Discover" option allows you to see lists of people attending the same events as you.

You'll also be able to find people who live in the same city as you or who work at the same place.

It's hoped you'll soon make firends with these people, as long as they don't mind the thought of a total strnager getting in touch out of the blue.

It can be found by pressing the "More" icon in the bottom right hand of the screen.
