AN expecting mum called cops because her neighbour’s noisy sex sessions stopped her sleeping.
Pregnant Carla Baird, 28, rang 999 as she was sick of the randy racket made by Timothy Mercer and his girlfriend when they romped.
Tensions came to a head when they bumped into each other in a Tesco car park in Barrhead, Renfrewshire, and Ms Baird and Mercer began arguing.
Ms Baird, from the town, said the problem had been going on for five years.
She told Paisley Justice of the Peace Court: “I said I wouldn’t stop phoning the police because of the racket going on above me — I couldn’t sleep.
"I said, ‘I’m three months pregnant’ and he said, ‘In that case your boyfriend’s car is getting it.’ I said, ‘Don’t threaten me,’ and he said, ‘It’s not a threat.’”
