A BRITISH teenager has died on a family holiday in Florida after being found unresponsive in a theme park pool.
Anna Beaumont, 13, from Cardiff, drowned in Discovery Cove in Orlando.
Emergency responders raced to the resort around 11.30am on Tuesday after she was found unresponsive in the water.
Anna was rushed to hospital in critical condition but died there on Wednesday.
Police said: "We are sorry to report that on May 29 2024, 13-year-old Anna Beaumont was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
"Any information about the cause and manner of her death will need to come from the Medical Examiner's Office."

The teen's death has been ruled an accidental drowning by authorities - but remains under investigation.
A Discovery Cove spokesperson said "staff responded to an emergency involving a guest" and called in Orange County Fire & Rescue.
The statement went on: "When emergency personnel arrived, they took over care and transported the guest to a nearby hospital.
"Our thoughts are with this family, and out of respect for their privacy, we won’t be commenting further."

Andrew Williams, headteacher at the youngster's school, told the BBC: "The very thought of losing a child is an unimaginable journey.
"I know I speak on behalf of the whole school community when I say that our thoughts are with Anna's family as they try to come to terms with their loss.
"Anna was a cherished member of our school family, and her absence will be profoundly felt by pupils, staff and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
"Her spirit, kindness and presence touched so many lives."
The teen was a year eight student at Radyr Comprehensive in Cardiff.
Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive resort and sister park of SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando.
Its website says visitors can "swim with dolphins, snorkel with thousands of tropical fish and rays, hand-feed exotic birds and unwind on pristine beaches".
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We are in touch with the family following the death of a child in the United States, and are providing consular support during this difficult time."
