A TOP bookie today pledged to eat his hat live on TV if Labour doesn't win 400 seats at the election.
Will Woodhams, CEO of Fitzdares, revealed that punters are flocking to place bets on a mega Labour victory.

He said: "I'd eat my hat if Labour doesn't hit the 400 mark".
The latest polls shows Sir Keir Starmer's party leading the Tories by 27 points.
A YouGov survey this week found 47 per cent of Brits are backing Labour, while just 20 per cent support the Tories and 12 per cent are vying for Reform.
Mr Woodhams said Brits are rapidly rolling the dice on the Tories only bagging between 150 - 200 constituencies.

That would mean a loss of at least 145 seats for Rishi Sunak and a gain of 194 for Sir Keir.
Fitzdares recently had to REJECT an eye-popping bet on the figure after deciding the price was wrong.
A punter wanted to place £200,000 on the estimate.

And another wanted to follow through with a £100,000 gamble.
But the firm will take bets on the estimate at evens.
Reflecting on the state of play, Mr Woodhams said: "This is an epoch making election.
"It's up there with 1983 and 1997. That's why it's fascinating to us."
While a lot of media attention today is honed in on Sir Keir Starmer's war with the Labour left, his purge of Corbynite candidates isn't cutting through to betting markets.
The top bookie explained that the Diane Abbott candidacy row "isn't making the blindest bit of difference" to odds.
What can shake things though up are the "gaffe factor" and "beer goggles".

Mr Woodhams said: "We're waiting for big gaffes. I'm not sure the Diane Abbott row is a massive gaffe.
"The other thing is beer goggles - that moment when Keir Starmer looks prime ministerial.
"It hasn't happened yet."
The gambling supremo added that there is loads of money moving, and lots of value, in the market.
Fitzdares odds on Labour securing 400 seats sit at 2-1.

Mr Woodhams said: "I'd actually say there's value there as well.
"Let's see how it goes - but I'd say that price will shorten.
"This is a good time to get a bet on because there are so many variables coming this way."
Mr Woodhams added that the Lib Dems are a "bit of a talking point", sitting on 200-1 to win and 500-1 on a majority.

"They are just nothing - they're nowhere. We're in a two party system."
