Teenage girl ‘raped in playing fields’ with four boys, 15 and 16, arrested as cops launch probe
FOUR boys aged 15 to 16 have been arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl on playing fields.
The victim alerted cops following the incident on Yorke Drive, in Newark, Notts, on Saturday afternoon.
Two boys, aged 15, and one boy, 16, were arrested on Monday on suspicion of rape.
They have been released on strict bail conditions.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday and remains in police custody.
Nottinghamshire Police say the teenage girl reported being attacked between 5.30pm and 7pm.

A force spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating reports of a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in Newark.
“The teenager and her family are being supported by specially trained officers.
“Our investigation is moving at pace, and I hope we can offer the public some reassurance that four boys have been arrested as we establish what has happened.
“A number of people have come forward to help us with our inquiries and I would like to thank them for their assistance."
