Boy, 15, stabbed near kids’ nursery sparking chaos as cops launch urgent investigation

The boy was found with stab injuries and rushed to hospital

A TEENAGE boy has been stabbed near a nursery in North West London.

In a statement, the Met Police said a 15-year-old boy was found with a stab injury by officers on Springfield Lane in Kilburn and taken to hospital.

His condition is not yet known.

A cordon remains in place at the scene, with police officers guarding the area.

X account @LifeinKilburn said the incident reportedly began in Springfield Lane before ending on Priory Road (also known as Kiburn Priory).

These roads are right next to Kilburn High Road Overground station and the A5, a busy road with a nursery school on.

The force said: "Police were called at 15:00hrs on Tuesday, 28 May to a report of an altercation on Springfield Lane, NW6.

"Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service. A 15-year-old boy was found with a stab injury and taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.

"No arrests have been made; enquiries are ongoing."
