MURDER PROBE
A friend of Amie said: “It is such a shocking thing to happen. She was a wonderful human being and didn’t have any enemies.
“There is a lot of speculation about why she was attacked — whether it could have been a robbery?”
Police investigating the attack at Durley Chine Beach, Bournemouth, are questioning a 17-year-old boy from Lancashire on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Amie, from Poole, married in 2017 in a civil ceremony but had recently separated from her wife Sian Gray, according to friends.
Amie wore a blue suit for their wedding while Sian, 38, wore a white bridal dress.
After news of Amie’s killing, Sian posted a photo of their wedding with a heart emoji.
Friends of the former couple commented, “Beautiful photos to cherish”, and, “Thinking of you x”.
Sian runs a beauty salon business from her home, which Amie had posted about on social media when the two were together.
Sian was being comforted at her home in Poole by relatives yesterday.
Amie worked in sales and was also a personal fitness trainer who was head coach of a ladies indoor football team — Dorset Futsal Club.
She received her coaching badge from the FA in January.
The club changed its profile picture to a black square over the weekend.
A relative of Amie’s posted photos of her receiving a recent award for her work with the club.
Grieving friends commented underneath: “So sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful person.”

The attack came as thousands of families arrived for the holiday weekend.
Yesterday, a mile-long stretch of the beach remained sealed off from Bournemouth Pier to Alum Chine, where flowers were laid.
Police received a report at 11.42pm on Friday that two people had been stabbed.
